Hi

I invented a tumbling magnet electrical generatiing system. which you may interested to see. It works well on my bicycle.

That's very good. You can make alot of money from this. I too, am thinking of another method of electrical generation using magnets and solenoids.

I'm not impressed.

1. You put black text on a dark background.
2. You don't know the difference between a verb and gerund, verb and infinitive, past and progressive, affect and effect, or -y and -i-.
3. LEDs are already very efficient.
4. You conveniently left off the flashing stint.
5. I don't see capacitors mentioned, and there are already [steady and|or LED] flashlights powered by shaking.
6. The "standby lights" must have the capacitors. But how bright are they?

I would've just used a foam pad covered with glow-in-the-dark paint.

From the website:

No Batteries - Ever! No Friction! No Resistance!

Maybe unnoticeable friction and resistance, but not zero.

Simply adding weight to the bike and tires is going to increase friction.

The magnet will create resistance as it passes the generator. In fact, it will create resistance via eddy currents as it passes metal parts of the bike.

I give credit for actually building and selling it though. It's *EASY* to come up with a great or better idea, but actually putting it into production.. that takes effort.

But fix the black text.. thats hidious. :-)

i agree completely with Ian Smith :D

oh and lysdexia is right it would help if you put capacitors in as well so u can have a continuous stream of light

i dunno if flashing lights is good for people who suffer from epilepsic fits tho :/

well done for marketing a simple but effective idea ;D

i have a good example for that try spinning the dc motor's armature you'll notice it spins freely now try connecting the two pannels it will stop as soon as you release the armature
