Is it possible to make a tiny 2-way radio/walkie-talkie/whatever you may call it that can be switched on automatically when the other radio/walkie-talkie/whatever you call it sends a signal/voice/sound or is alien technology needed to get this kind of advanced stuff? What you are asking for is called a "squelch circuit", and we got it from the aliens many years ago. Some examples of devices that use this technology are easy to find on the web. | ||

hey simon,this gives me an idea,how bout making the computer controlled transmitter portable,like its battery operated,..anyway,one way,two way,the other way,high way,or all the way,i have a palm i think of using it as the transmitter course with the oscillator,..i think i got i with the morse code transmitter when i downloaded it.can i use that instead of the desk top or lap top computer?i know palm is or has a computer in it.can i?but the only problem is i dont have an external connector for that,..or maybe using the ir would do? | ||
