How can I build a static eliminator? I guess it has something to do w/ ions, but im not sure. Any ideas or plans post here. (P.S.-im trying to build one cause my fricken cats shed so much!)

One way we eliminate static is to make surfaces
more conductive, so they don't generate electricity
when rubbed against one another.

Fabric softener sheets are good for this.
You can rub them on things that develop charge.

There is also anti-static spray that does the
same thing.
