Get a video card that has TV OUT, and connect it to the TV. |

the thing is that i wanna extend the range of my usb web cam so i can stick it out the window. when i try to extend the usb wire to more than a foot the connection is lost, my pc does have an tv out port but that will not help my pc it too far from the window in which i want to aim the cam out of. Then you asked the wrong question. What you need is an active USB extension cable. This is a cable that has a USB repeater inside it, so that the signals can go farther than the normal USB cable can go. |

No. It uses surface-mount USB chips that would cost you more than the cable. |
