Will Radioshack #278-1157 work better than Radio Shack #270-334 for the laser communicator???

Jared is talking about aligator clip leads.

The 1157 part is too fat to fit inside the battery compartment
of the laser. The #278-016, #270-372, or #270-334 have long slender
noses that can fit inside the battery compartment and hook onto
the little spring way inside.

It is also possible to cut the aluminum casing away altogether,
but then the laser could not use its normal batteries anymore.
