My rubber band keeps riding up the motor shaft. Any ideas to keep it one place? |

Or make a ridge or hot glue in the centre - the band will ride up onto it |

is there any difference between an ordinary wire like rubberband and a wide rubberband as mentioned in the van de graaff plan.can i use the wire like rubberband.please anyone help me with this. |
