i'm facing problems with this toy.i connected all the things as shown in the circuit diagram.it's still not working.the laser and LED just stays on when a transmission is taking place.i must have checked all the connections a zillon times,i put new parts,new lasers,everything.but i'm not getting further than the laser and LED staying ON together.i'm no expert but the only remaining problem could be the morse code program.i set it to invert signal,repeat message,AM Low tone then high tone then CW.i tried everything in the last 4 days nothings working.can you plz help me.thanks......... |

Are you using an ancient operating system? Microsoft made changes to their handling of serial ports about 5 years ago, and the code will only work on operating systems built after that. |

That's probably your problem. That operating system is over 5 years old. Try it on a more recent Windows XP system. |

hi again, i just wanted 2 ask.i'm using a solar cell from a calculator as the reciever.it produces upto 0.9 Volts when a laser beam falls on it perpendicularly,upto 1.4 Volts when it falls on it long it's width and upto 3 Volts when sunlight falls on it.will it do? |
