Apparently you have not built one yet.
The combustion is completely contained, and all you would get is a slight
puff from the exit holes.

The same thing goes for the 100 explosions per second in your car engine.

The Film Can Cannon is a much better choice for that holiday.
It is also much easier and faster to build.

yo
i have a story about completly enclosed exploding h bomb. first off i used a large gator aid container for the electrolisis. on the cap i drilled a hole and fed a fish tank air bubbler hose through it. i hot glued it to seal it. i also did this to the graphite rods on the bottom. it worked marvelously. the hydrogen and oxygen went through the hose and into a water and soap mixture. the gas bubbles floated to the top where i could light them. well i got the not so brillent idea to lift the hose out of the water so i coul get a bigger bubble and therefore a bigger bang. i got a nice little bang so i decided to try it again. the explosion went through the hose and into the gator-aid tank filled half ful with hydrogen and oxygen. BOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i felt the explosion shake me to the bones. the graphite rods shattered, the top blew off and the father (uninformed of my experiments) woke up(fortunatly the packer game reached a high point and drowned out the noise, sigh). that happened about 3 minuts ago and i figueed you guys should know first. i,ll post some pictures when i get some. the only thing i can say was that that would make an awesome film can cannon. LOL
