Could you possible build a Tesla Coil by using everday things and having to do very little shopping?

Yes you could make a tesla coil. You might need to by alot of wire and a eletric motor for the rotary spark gap. You could make the capictor out of rootbeer bottles, brine, and aluminium foil. Do a google search for "homemade tesla coil" you might find somthing.
