hi, i was looking at your laser communicator, and i was wondering, would it be possible to just plug it into the back of a tv? i know that tv signals are different from sound signals, and could the laser and detector keep up without distorting the signal?

The transformer is designed for audio frequencies (20 hz to 20,000 hz).
The television uses frequencies that would probably be blocked by the transformer
(3,500,000 hz).

You could wind your own transformer for television frequencies (see the ARRL
Handbook to see how), or you could modulate the laser with circuitry designed
for television frequencies.
