Does anyone have any clue on how to build a fairly simple tracking device? I just thought it might be pretty cool to use one. I think I want something that beeps faster as you get closer. Thanks, Kyle | |||||

I made a similar object that you needed. Coherers can receive waves, it is made of iron filings and placed in a small container the transmitter can be as simple as a small motor and a battery. The motor makes sparks as it turns, coherers then receive the waves made by the motor as you get closer to the motor the coherer makes louder clicks. it doesn't perform as well as commercial tracking devices. But it show the principle of the tracker you wanted. (Message edited by mnado on March 15, 2006) |
