Ever Considered a simple windmill? a simple one can be made from an old dc motor, a computer fan and some pvc pipe. It is able to easily power a small light bulb. it can be found here http://www.otherpower.com/toymill.html Or you can make a more complex one able of suppling 100w @ 12v but this one is considerbately harder and maybe beond the scope of this website here: http://www.otherpower.com/woodmill.html |

considerably, usual, etc. No, because windmills are already done. Ever considered making your own wind with no moving parts? |

I like stepper motors as wind generators. They're basically generators as they are PM AC motors and can easily light a few LEDS when spun by hand. |
