I was at the local Natural History Museum and they were fring off these simple rockets. What one does is: fill a film canister halfway or less with water, put in a quarter tablet of Alka-Seltzer, put the lid on, put it on the ground lid down, and watch it fly! It's a very fun toy, and flies about 20 feet. Have fun! LBS |

Yeah, I used to make those. I want to try making a rocket, but using the same principles as the hydrogen bomb. |

no not al all it just "blasts off" faster.. also if you can get to it fastenough after it was launched you can poor more water in and make it blast off again you can do this several times |

You can try to fill water half way to a 1.5 bottle and put a whole tablet inside and block the end with cork. |

and it flies better if you grind the tab into powder. |
