i have a chip (IC) for and amp that im transfering from a bread board to a solderable board the only problem is the heat from the soldering iron might distroy the IC and other items how do i solder this without distroying the electronics? maby a heatsink? |

The IC is designed to be soldered. Use a low-wattage soldering pencil, and don't heat it any longer than needed to make a good solder joint, and you will be fine. |

I use an IC Socket you don't need to worry about damaging the IC and if it fails to work you you can easily remove and replace. |
