another fun project can be an 8 watt audio amp. here is the site i found with the most detail: http://www.aaroncake.net/circuits/amp.htm ive never finished building this project because the IC that is needed is really hard to find the maker of this project says it does work |

You're finding it difficult to obtain the part because it has been discontinued. The replacement part is the TDA2003 (successor to the TDA2002, which will also work). You can find the part at mouser.com or digikey.com for between $1.40 to $2.10. You can use Google to search for "TDA2003" or "TDA2002" to find many uses for the part, and many simple circuits you can build. |

That battery will work, but you might find 8 D cells to be less expensive. |

well i allready have the battery so i'll use it. and what type of charger should i get? i dont want to spend much on that but its a must. |

You can trickle charge it with a cheap wall-wart style power supply. Find one that puts out 15 volts at 300 milliamps or less, and let it charge overnight. |
