Is there a fairly cheap way to make light amplification or thermal sensors? Like nightvision. |

Sure. Use a cheap black & white video camera, and some infrared LEDs. A small portable television can be the monitor. |

You can also get cameras that have their own built-in IR LEDs. The cheapest one i've seen is CAT # VC-303 on this page: http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?category=135&type=store |
