The idea is simple. You need: A induction coil, a cardboard tube (dia.10cms, length 30 cms approx) some wires, aluminium foil, CIGARETTE. Procedure: Take the tube. warp it with aluminium foil(having a distance of 1cms, of each roundup, from end of the tube to other). let a straight Al foil into the tube. Beware they shouldnt touch the inner wall(the place were u will insert). Connect 9vol batt. to inuction coil. The other 2 to the Al foils(outlet of inductioncoil). Make a hole at the bottom of tube(twice the dia. of Cigarrete). Switch on the induction coil. keep a burning Ciggarette pretty closeto the hole( no problem if inside). Sciences plays(no time explain"why?"). You will not get any smoke of the tube. |

It could maybe if you connect it to high voltage instead of a battery. I did something similar with a tin can connected to a Van De Graff generator, and it worked as a dust attractor. |

Just buy an Ionic Breeze thing from Sharper Image; they work. |
