Does anyone know if panthenol is natural or synthetic? If natural; plant or animal?

production of sodium bisulphite from sodium hydroxide and sulphur dioxide
we are Qtar Acids co , we are producer of sulphuri acid with high quality and high concentration and we have exces of sulphurdioxide gas of 8% conc and sodium hydroxide of 50% conc , we like to produce sodium bisulphite of 20% conc with out any sodium sulphite or sodiue sulpate we have the facility for this reaction but we required suficent information about this process , we are ready for any correspondance .
