Hi, I want to make some bismuth crystals and I want some gloves to protect my hands from the heat. They must hold up to alteast 530 degrees F. Any help would be great. Thanks, Travis |

Use a cheap kitchen ladle (buy it for this purpose) so the heat is 6 inches from your hands. Then ordinary oven mitts will do nicely, or long sleeved leather work gloves. |

Use gaunlet gloves. I use them for welding in the shop. |

or you could try the kevlar range of gloves if you need to get closer to the heat, try looking here http://www.andersons-online.com/Products/Kevlar_Gloves_769.html |
