See my site or Bill Beaty's, or another of Bill's, or Kelly Hebert's.

A very simple one, works quite well: from Nyle Steiner

Another very simple one: Kelly Hebert again.

hi.. I am trying to make a sphere for the VDG (free of course) Ive got a perfectly spheretrical paper machee (yes, i know im cheap) globe which ive then covered in alfoil. the alfoil has a thin layer of the machee mix (flour to water 1:1) on it. the alfoil is naturally all creased and wrinkly. I've smoothed it out so it is very minor, but my question is --

* will the crinkled and wrinkled aluminum foil create coronas?
* will the only thin (one layer) of alfoil effect the capacitance and over all performance?
* will the thin layer of machee mix effect performance

> note that i have briefly tested it, and it works Ok

BTW: if you don't think it would do a good job, could you please suggest an alternative (household objects, free, or low cost please :D )

THX!
