hello.
I've got two major questions.

1.) If I took the three penny radio and put it in a coat pocket for example would I have to put a bigger antenna on it because of the coat?

2.) Would the radio create enough heat to catch a polester coat on fire?

The coat is transparent to radio waves.
The radio generates almost no detectable heat.
