See this page. It shows part of the Film Can Cannon assembly that deals with the igniter. If you hold the black wire close to the brass base and then push down on the igniter button, you will see a spark go from the wire to the base. The wire must be within a quarter of an inch from the base. Normally, the base is connected to a wire (like on the page referenced above) or to the chassis of some device, such as a stove. |
