I pretty well know everything I'm doing and how to make everything for my science fair project. First of all, I'm making CO2 dragsters. I'm going to make a wind tunnel to see the aerodynamics of them, and then I'm going to run them down a track and compare their aerodynamics(from the windtunnel) with the times that they run on the track. So, I know all of this except I want to know what kind of shapes I should use for the cars? |

It might be fun to make some whose aerodynamics are as bad as you can make them, to contrast to some of the more traditional streamlined shapes. So, in addition to shapes that look like whales, fish, and dive-bombing falcons, you might add a simple cube, a pinwheel on the front of the car, wings that lift the wheels off the ground, wings that push the wheels down, and cones facing front, cones facing back, and two cones, bottom to bottom. |
