The spark coil will need a battery and a switch.
It is really easy to find an electronic lighter
at a drug store or a grocery store. You can get
the igniter from that.

Many spray products use volatile fuels as propellants.
Right Guard deodorant contains isobutane, butane, and propane
as propellants. But the Aluminum Chlorohydrate,
Cyclomethicone, Talc, and Silica Dimethyl Silylate
may not be nice to breath after they have burned.

Binaca Breath Freshener is my favorite, and you can find it
everywhere. It contains isobutane and alcohol. The alcohol
mist stays in the film can better than the gasses. But
most of all, each push of the spray button meters out the
same amount of fuel each time. The deodorant keeps spraying
as long as you push, so you can't get the same amount of fuel
each time.

I am wanting to order the film canister canon kit and I don't see that option anywhere on the site. I have followed all the directions but the option to buy the kit is not available. Please let me know the cost and the product number so I can order several of them. Thanks, can't wait to try it.

Hi,

We purchased the igniters from your website, and want to make sure we're assembling things correctly. I see that I need two wires, and I solder them to where on the igniter? Thanks for your help.

The igniter has one wire, and a brass cap at the bottom is the
other electrode. Don't solder to that -- you will just melt the plastic.
Just wrap the wire around it. High voltage does not need a soldered
connection.

Where did that fellow go who was going to build one with the
Holly four barrel carburetor and the 55 gallon drum? Has anyone
heard from him since? Maybe in this year's Darwin Awards?

Take a bowl of water and place it in the middle of the lawn.
The water only needs to be half an inch deep.
Arrange two wires so that they form a spark gap, and place the
wires in the bowl so that the spark gap stays above the water,
but the wires go under the water, then up over the bowl, and
into the house.

Open one end of a dog food can, and feed the dog.
Rinse out the can, and squirt some hairspray in it. You will
have to experiment a few times to get the right fuel-to-air
ratio.

Place the can in the bowl of water, over the spark gap.
Go into the house, and use a piezoelectric igniter connected
to the wires to make a spark.

The can will go up 30 to 120 feet in the air, with a satisfyingly
loud noise, attracting the attention of law enforcement and
parental units. Dogs will bark. Little children will cry. The
can will come down eventually, making more noise.

Repeat as necessary.

If you have a spark, that's all you need.
The type of wire won't matter.

Then you probably have to much losses along the wire.

Try to reduce them, or use a shorter wire.
